branding

Flux's visual identity draws from interior elements like the signature blue frame, with illustrations reflecting the playfulness of the interiors such as the record player or art books, and pops of blue or mustard yellow across the branding.

Qarya ceramics

Qarya Ceramics is part of a speculative design project series by Studio Mawj.

The studio is conceived by an Egyptian, Berlin-based artist whose practice explores the intersection of rural knowledge systems and metropolitan modernism. Developed as a commercial extension of her work, Qarya produces limited-edition ceramic pieces inspired by the architectural forms and natural landscape of Fayoum, Egypt.

The collection reflects on how vernacular craft traditions migrate from village contexts into urban centers such as Fustat and Cairo, shaping contemporary material culture.
